On Your Mark 5k

Join St. Mark's and FIT COUNTY for our first annual On Your Mark 5k Fun Run

When: October 16, 2010

Where: St. Mark's Hospital, Back Entrance (off Von Minden Street)

Distance: 3.1 miles

What: Fun Run/Walk

Day of registration begins at 7am/Race begins at 8am

I am so thrilled to be able to do what I love every day! Health By Jenny is a long time dream that is becoming more and more real. There now three parts to Health By Jenny, designed to reach out to as many people as possible to provide healthful opportunities and knowledge....

1) Fitness Classes......

ZUMBA-a total body, calorie burning, Latin

Aerobics workout that burns fat, builds muscle,increases indurance, and improves flexibility and agility. So FUN!

YOGA- also a total body, calorie burning workout that improves strength, flexibility, and balance, and decreases stress. Not as easy as you'd think...get ready to sweat!

2) FIT COUNTY

This is my non-profit group that is dedicated to turning Fayette County into FIT COUNTY

by providing healthful activities and opportunities in our community and offering FREE wellness knowledge. Everyone who is interested in their health (hello we all are!) is welcome to be a part of FIT COUNTY and it's FREE! We meet the first Thursday of every month from 12- 1pm. 3) Personal Training

The newest addition to Health By Jenny. Let's hit the gym together and reach your personal wellness goals. I offer one-on-one training at St. Mark's Wellness Center. Whether you want to lose weight, gain muscle, increase endurance or just be healthy, we'll work together to design a plan for you....and I'm there right beside you encouraging you the entire way.

2010 Fair Parade

Health By Jenny/FIT County participated in this years Fair Parade and had a blast spreading our Zumba/Yoga/Fitness Spirit! We threw out over 1,000 colorful beads and 500 class schedules! People loved dancin' to our Latin Beats we were blasting.

School Supply Donation

During the month of August, students earned a FREE fitness class when they brought in school supplies. Wow.....we had so many donations! Thank you everyone for helping to get the kids ready for another school year. Health By Jenny donated a total of over $200 worth of school supplies to La Grange ISD.

2010 80's ZUMBA Party!

It just gets better and better! Our 2nd Annual 80's Party did not disappoint. Man, do you guys know how to dress up.....we had MC Hammer Pants, a fanny pack, fish-net stockings, leotards with belts, tons of side ponytails, and even an appearance by Richard Simmons! Thanks every body for a great time and a kickin' workout! Get ready for next year......

She was even in character the entire time! P.S. Don't miss the under-arm and chest hair!

Health By Jenny Anniversary Party!

To celebrate one year of business my fabulous clients threw me a surprise anniversary party! And let me tell you I am not surprised easily (ok Jeremy you've surprised me yourself) but besides that I am very hard to catch unaware. Well they did it. What a wonderful party....complete with Susie in a body shirt. Thank you girls for a great party and thank you everyone for 1 year of business. Here's to many more!
